MAKER CAMP SESSION ONE Monday, August 7 - Thursday, August 10 at 2:30pm Entering Gr. 3-5 Online Registration: July 31 Join us each day at the library and create some cool STEAM projects to take home. This week’s projects include: health and beauty products, bracelets, and mosaics. Preference given to UFSD #22 residents. See how you can transform even the simplest things into amazing sounding musical instruments. Preference given to UFSD #22 residents. FROGS, BUGS, AND ANIMALS Monday, July 31 at 7:00pm Tickets Available: July 17 All Ages and an adult Join us for an exciting, hands-on show featuring frogs, bugs, reptiles, bunnies, and baby animals that the whole family will love. Put on your chef’s hat and see what you can do with our secret ingredients. Preference given to UFSD #22 residents. *FIRE TRUCK FUN Thursday, August 24 at 10:00am No Registration Required All Ages and an adult Climb aboard a fire truck and learn all about the day to day lives of our local heroes from South Farmingdale Fire Department. We’ll also have activities and stories. Preference given to UFSD #22 residents. Part of the 2017 One Town, One Book: Oyster Bay Reads program Join Victoria Beckert for a watercolor workshop. You’ll start with practicing different brush strokes as well as creating textures with salt and candle wax. Afterwards, you will begin to paint your own watercolor piece to take home.
